Small group pastor PJ Noland - with help from a gifted team of leaders - directs Oasis's youth ministry programs, which offer preteens (fifth and sixth graders) and teens (seventh through twelfth graders) opportunities to serve and worship. It’s our vision to see young men and women experience God, discover His purpose for their lives, and be difference-makers in the world around them.
Leading youth to serve others
Throughout the year, Oasis's youth groups - which meet all over central Arkansas - come together to perform service projects. We've handed out cold water at local parks; made blankets for the homeless; and served the community of Mena, AR, which is still recovering from devastating tornado damage sustained in 2009.
At Oasis, we constantly challenge our youth to be difference-makers for Christ and provide them opportunities to do so.
Sundays @ Oasis
Youth are a vital part of our Sunday worship experience and activities in the community. Just like the adult members of our congregation, our youth are encouraged to serve in a ministry and worship in our Sunday morning services. More than 90% of our youth serve in one our numerous ministries, where they discover their spiritual gifts and serve alongside others. Oasis's preaching is thoughtfully planned to be as relevant to youth as it is to adults.
Small groups
Mid-week, our youth gather in small groups around Central Arkansas to grow together in Christ and impact their community. Through these groups, they deepen friendships and explore the Bible in a way that challenges them to apply biblical principles in their lives. Youth small groups are led by equipped, trained leaders that have a heart for young adults. They guide group members through the Word, pray for and with youth, and encourage strong family connections.
Visit the Small Groups page to learn more about our group program and to find a group that's right for you, regardless of your age, location, or interests.
